Charles Dawson – Senior Partner (Conveyancing & Probate)

Charles is the senior partner of the firm, qualifying as a solicitor in 1977. During the last 30 years he has spent approximately half his professional time working on a wide range of residential and business property sales, purchases and leases. Charles estimates that he has dealt with approximately 2000 residential conveyancing matters in his career. He is the firm’s supervising officer for its membership of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

Most of Charles’ remaining professional time is spent preparing wills, Powers of Attorney and the administration of estate and trusts, including advice on related tax issues, including Inheritance Tax. The number of estate administration files undertaken by him during his career exceeds 1,000 covering a wide range of estate ranging from the simplest to the most complex. He has been a member of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP) for many years and has attended their seminars on a regular basis.

 

Treve Lander – Litigation Partner

Treve heads the firm’s Litigation Department. He has over thirty nine years experience in criminal and family matters.  He is a Duty Solicitor  for both court  and Police Station schemes in Mansfield.He is a member of the Law Society Advanced Family panel.  Treve deals with children and financial cases including care proceedings.  Treve also represents employers and employees in employment matters.

 

Rosalynde Green – Conveyancing

Rosalynde is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She has over 20 years’ experience in conveyancing, specialising in residential property sales and purchases, with related mortgage work. She is familiar with shared ownership and government aided schemes. Rosalynde keeps up to date with the ever changing property world by attending professional training courses including the CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) modules. Rosalynde works full-time for the firm and has a workload of between 150 and 200 transactions per year.
